- Tell us something about yourself......
- I am who I am and create because I love to do so. I think the most important thing for an artist is to create from the heart and mind and to accept that the end result is part of your perception of a moment or feeling in time.
I tend to paint from memory rather than create exact likeness from a photo as it stimulates the adventurous and creative flow within the depths of my brain. I guess thats why some if not all of my paintings tend to have a realism that borders on the fictitious nature portrayed in my paintings.
- What would you like to happen in the art world?
- I think freedom of expression without political red tape or intolerance from those who won't attempt to create themselves but instead cast doubt on those who have ability and the confidence to create and display their talents.
I would like to foster an appreciation and acceptance within artist communities to recognise the abilities of those who are self taught amongst those trained in fine arts.
I believe even the masters of times gone by had to seek their abilities from within and then display their perception of life on canvas, ceilings and even rock walls and caves.

house and studio
This is my studio with an upstairs loft for painting and the left hand Garage door is where I will put french doors or similar where I can display art for cash sales (or maybe not if the tax man is reading this)

The weather this week-end, so far, has been a mix,a little rain, mostly cloudy with some sunshine, our Summer this year has been, how can i put it, crap,but you don't live in Britian for the wonderful climate.
I am finally back into the drawing, a week into a fairly detailed one called 'The Bee Sting', possibly another two weeks or so but it sure is good to get back to it.
