THE KEYHOLE

It's all about creativity baby!

This photo is of Zach at Leah's game of soccer that I went to watch on Saturday. It was so cute watching all the kids run after the ball.

I love the Spring time...everyone gets a spring in their step and for a lot of people it's out with the old and in with the new! It's a bloody good excuse to give your house a good clean out and get ready to enjoy the weather again.

I'm excited as one of my mates from Auckland is moving to Wanganui 2mora, I'm over the moon. We worked together just before I moved out of Auckland and I have a feeling that we will work together again on who know what sort of project? Plus I think he wants to start painting which will be fun!

This week I have realised just how much art I have in my home.....SHIT LOADS!!! I have pulled it all off the walls and the house looks so empty. It's amazing how art can change the atmosphere of a home. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it in our new house?

It has been 4 weeks 2mora since I stopped smoking and it really doesn't get easier! I don't like the smell of it or the taste but my brain still craves it....WEIRD!!

Tip for the day:
Keep your cat away from your palette.
Do you have any idea how big a mess can be made by just four tiny paint covered paws? Let's hope you don't find out! Find a way to protect your art supplies - and artwork - from your pets.

I had my cat jump on the painting I was working on this week, she can be such a pain always wanting to be on my knee. I love the painting that I'm working on it is close to being finished so hopefully I will get to upload a picture of it next week?

We moved into a wicked house this week, it has taken many days of going up and down stairs, I'm so glad to see the back of those stairs. I haven't sorted out the internet yet and am on a dial up connection what a pain in the bum! I don't know how anyone can use dial up all the time! I better get back to it, happy moving everybody!

I'm in the middle of packing too, and yes like you guys my studio is chock full with wrapped paintings. (Not all mine!) I had to buy a new roll of bubble wrap.
Any one have any packing tips?

Hey Dee, yeah I'm loving the feeling of Spring, weeded some of my garden on Saturday, then in the afternoon saw the cats hiding behind plants, chasing each other, wrecking what plants were in the garden, they were tossing things in the air, I was thinking oh they are like lambs jumping around the paddock, they must have that Spring feeling too.
Love the photo of Zach, awe aren't kids just a breath of fresh air.
Well back to my painting, look forward to seeing your new painting Dee.
