Just one more day left up in the old place and we will be ready to hand the keys back.
Everyone has been asking me if I'm sad about leaving and I don't have any sadness only excitement about our new life. Shaughan closed his business yesterday so we really do have a fresh new start.
Man what a mission it has been moving. When you live in a big space you collect a lot of stuff!. I don't know how many times I have been up and down those bloody stairs. The hardest thing was moving all the art... you have you be so careful. I have only seen one piece that has been a little bit damaged and that it Otis Frizzel's Tiki painting :(
The boys have said that I must have over 1200 pieces of art..... I don't have an obsession I promise hahaha.
It's has been a good time to sort everything out, I have all my unfinished work in my studio and the finished pieces in a room in the house which I will have to move before I have the baby so we can put a cot in there hahaha.
I am looking forward to finishing off some of those unfinished paintings, like Shaughan's 'Starry Night' that he has been waiting 3 years for. In February I wrote that I wanted to live in a house that was in the country and had no distractions so I could get on with painting.......THANK YOU GOD!!!!

I had a little visitor this morning, this bird is so cute he sings such beautiful songs and wants to get inside.
I also have a boy and girl duck that come to the back door every morning for bread. This morning they were running around the lawn after my cat it was funny!!!! I finally got my fish here yesterday and they are all settled in and all survived the trip. It was a bit sad a few days ago one of the lambs died : ( This place is like a little farm, I love being here!
When I get broadband on I will get some little video clips up :) My mate gave me some choice music which I will also upload when I can!
Tip for the day: Remember Thomas Edison's "99% perspiration, 1% inspiration."
It maybe pretty old, but it is still worth taking to heart. Being a successful artist is more than creativity and inspiration. If you really want to be successful, don't forget to add in a good dose of hard work.
